HOW TO EXCLUDE YOUR IP ADDRESS FROM GOOGLE ANALYTICS – STATIC & DYNAMIC
You all know what Google Analytics is. Google Analytics tracks the website traffic and prepares a report on it.
Google Analytics reports the traffic but you must have seen that the traffic will also consider the visits that you have made on the website as traffic. But this is misleading and the analytics reports will lead to wrong interpretations.
So to solve this problem you have to block your IP Address in Google Analytics. So now the Question is how to do it???

The IP Address is of two type – Static and Dynamic. We have solution for both:

FOR STATIC IP ADDRESS.
For static IP Address you have to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Analytics.
Step 2: Go to Admin.
Step 3: Go to Filters
Step 4: Select Add Filter
4.a: Give Name to the IP
4.b: Click on Custom
4.c: In Exclude select : IP Address
4.d: In the Filter pattern enter your IP Address.[you can search your IP Address on Google just type “My IP Address” then copy and paste your IP]
4.e: Click on SAVE
And Done. Now Google Analytics will not track your visits.
FOR DYNAMIC IP ADDRESS.
Some times the IP Address will be dynamic and in that case all you have to do is download an extension provided by Google. The extension will allow analytics to stop recording your entry
The extension is: Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on (by Google)
